Between 12 and 17 years old.
For 2018 the price is £250 per person per week.
Subsidies are available for those who face difficulties in paying this amount. CAH is a registered charity and one of our aims for 2018 is to provide 90% funding for at least ten young people who otherwise would not be able to afford the fees.
Our holidays are adventure holidays, so you do need to be reasonably fit. A typical day on the mountain could involve 6 hours of walking on rough paths, and climbing up to 1000m above sea level. Off road biking is biking on rough tracks up and down hills, so again a reasonable level of fitness is needed. Both kayaking and canoeing involve paddling your own boat along and across Derwentwater, and it can be hard work.
Everyone will have the opportunity to experience all our core activities, sailing, kayaking and hill walking and there may be additional activities offered depending on which week you attend.
Christian Adventure Holidays are very much about everyone taking part and supporting each other to try new experiences.
No, everything we do is graded to the individual's ability and we want you to experience and enjoy it. You may find the activities challenging but most new things are.
Many of our Leaders had a first taste of the activity that they now lead at one of our holidays.
No you don't, we have a good supply of equipment for you to borrow but if you do have walking boots, waterproofs or a wetsuit then bring them along. You can see the full kit list on the Ready to go page.
All the information on arrivals and departures, including the kit list can be found on our Ready to go page.
